Fundación Avina, is a regional non-profit organisation with a mandate to support sustainable development in the Latin American region. Its regional programmes focus on two broad themes: climate change and the economy; and governance and public goods. Its activities aim to enable climate action in sectors, cities and biomes, including on access to water and energy, resource management, and promoting climate-compatible development. Fundación Avina achieves this through a broad network of grass-roots and community-based organisations, national and local governments, non-governmental organisations, the scientific community and the private sector.
