The Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMB) is the first national private sector direct access entity based in Nepal. With its goal to help develop the industrial, commercial and agricultural sectors of Nepal, NIMB, mobilized investments from internal and external sources and has provided various financial services in the areas of renewable energy, agriculture, tourism, transport, cement industries and garment industries in the country. The bank has also been working closely with small and medium enterprises to boost employment in rural and urban areas of Nepal and contribute to eliminating national poverty. As one of the leading commercial banks in Nepal, it works with both public and private sector partners and offers access to funds for a wide range of beneficiaries and sectors.

With GCF, NIMB plans to undertake projects and programmes on renewable energy, solid waste management, and many others through public and private sector partnerships.
