Zambia’s NAP process will have two phases: Phase 1 will focus on developing the overarching National NAP while Phase 2 will be on developing a Water NAP. This proposal provides details of the NAP process in Phase 1. The proposed planning process under phase 1 (the current proposal) will strengthen national level coordination frameworks and processes to guide how climate change adaptation will be mainstreamed into national, sub-national and sectoral development planning and budget processes.
