Alternative Response Options for Mitigation & Adaptation of Coffee Farms (AROMA) Program

The PPF grant will enable CI and partners to develop and submit a high-quality Funding Proposal for this global Program that is informed by rigorous analyses, reflects ownership by stakeholders, and best serves the priorities of the four participating countries. Funding from GCF will be used to engage expert consultants to: gather baseline data and information to ensure that the program is feasible; engage stakeholders to inform the design of the program interventions; develop inclusive implementation arrangements; identify ambitious and achievable indicators; analyze the program’s anticipated financial and economic benefits, including a robust sustainability and exit strategy; and develop environmental, social and gender assessments and management plans to ensure equitable and effective implementation. The PPF will also be used to design the Nature Positive Facility (NPF) and review related in-country financial mechanism needs.
