This initiative will help with putting in place an institutional mechanism to facilitate effective coordination of activities and management of country’s GCF project portfolio. In this regard, equipment of NDA secretariat is ensured including hiring of consultants for various training sessions and specific tasks on IT, M&E of complex projects, project administration and financial management, better understanding of linkages between climate change and development sector etc. This project will also help support organization of stakeholders’ sensitization meetings, capacity building of NDA secretariat in various disciplines including GCF procedures, facilitating inter sectorial dialogue and multi partners collaboration in national processes etc.

IUCN will be responsible for administering the funds using required procedures and guidelines, ensure project delivery with both financial and technical reporting, provide technical and strategic guidance in project execution.
