The objective of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness Programme is to further strengthen the Government of Nepal’s national capacities to effectively and efficiently plan for, access, manage, deploy and monitor climate financing in particular through the GCF. The readiness activities will build up on key achievements, outputs and learnings from existing readiness support (currently funded by the Government of Germany) towards wider engagement of national stakeholders in the GCF process.
