The proposed project aims at engaging key stakeholders in Latin America and the Caribbean region in a Dialogue that brings together representatives of the GCF, NDAs, Indigenous Peoples organizations and Accredited Agencies. The main goal is to contribute to the commitments of the 107th Assembly of the United Nations where the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples was adopted (articles 39, 41), to guarantee the right of Indigenous Peoples to have access to financial assistance to tackle climate change.
