The readiness support will focus on the implementation of two outcomes:

• strengthening the institutional capacities of NDA to efficiently engage with GCF. This will be achieved throughout the development of guideline for issuing Non objection letter, singing bilateral agreement with GCF and exploration of all potential external sources for climate finance and development of adequate mechanism to manage all the incoming revenues with GCF accredited entities.
• engaging stakeholders from key government institutions, Civil Society organizations, Women Associations, NGO’s to build a better understanding of the nature and scope of climate risk and opportunities and how we can approach them. A series of iterative consultative meetings and workshops, will be organized to increase the likely acceptability, as well as the effectiveness of any proposed climate actions.
