AEPC is the Delivery Partner for the readiness grant titled “Readiness support for enhancing the capacity of NDA and other stakeholders for project pipeline development in Nepal.”  This grant is being implemented in coordination with the International Economic Cooperation Coordination Division (IECCD), Ministry of Finance (MoF, NDA) since July 2022. In addition, AEPC is also in the process of finalizing the Funded Activity Agreement for the project titled “Mitigating GHG emission through modern, efficient and climate friendly cooking solutions” (CCS) approved by the GCF Board at B.30.

The proposed Readiness Support for the Implementation of the IRMF for Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) will have linkage with the aforementioned RPSP project in the areas of project pipeline development and capacity building in the light of updated GCF result architecture as per the IRMF. In addition to capacitating AEPC to develop a pipeline of projects in alignment with the IRMF, the proposed project will also reach a wider set of project participants through the RPSP that involves the NDA, DAEs and country stakeholders including civil society organizations, indigenous people, and women.
