The proposed GCF Readiness support activities will build on the previous EE experiences to strengthen institutional capacity in designing and implementing MEPS and labelling. The Readiness support will develop an implementation plan for MEPS and labelling programme for EE lighting and appliances and establish an enabling environment for transformation of the EE lighting and appliance market, including an investment plan for introducing EE appliances and supporting implementation of MEPS and labelling in a long term.
