Strengthening Sector-level Strategic Framework and Institutional Capacity for advancing climate action in the St. Kitts and Nevis
This Readiness intends to strengthen sector-level Strategic Framework and Institutional Capacity for advancing climate action in the St. Kitts and Nevis. As noted before, the activities to be implemented are associated with Tourism, Coastal Zone, Urban and Agriculture sectors. Further, it supports the creation of an enabling environment for the accreditation of national entities to increase potential access to climate finance via the GCF. The activities and outputs of the Readiness will contribute the following four outcomes of the GCF:
- Outcome 1.2: Direct access applicants and accredited entities (DAEs) have established capacity for GCF’s accreditation
- Outcome 1.3: Relevant country stakeholders have established adequate capacity, systems and networks
- Outcome 2.2: GCF recipient countries have developed or enhanced strategic frameworks
- Outcome 4.3: An increase in the number of quality concept notes developed and submitted
