This readiness proposal builds upon the approved readiness program for Burkina Faso prepared by IUCN. It is also aligned with the approved readiness program prepared by FAO. The NDA and Delivery Partner (DP) have worked with IUCN, FAO and key stakeholders to ensure that this proposal maximizes synergies with approved readiness activities. Activities under this proposal are limited to Areas 3 and 4 of the Logical Framework. The FAO Readiness program does not cover Areas 3, while under Area 4, it concentrates on developing a GCF funding proposal for a specific project called “Great Green Wall”. GGGI’s Readiness proposal does not involve the development of any funding proposal.
