GCF Support to Climate Resilient Recovery

Following the announcement of GCF Support to Climate Resilient Recovery, the webinar will provide the opportunity to clarify any questions that National Designated Authorities and other partners have regarding such support. 

As stated in the Guidance Note on GCF Readiness Support to Climate Resilient Recovery, Readiness Programme resources may support countries to develop climate-resilient recovery strategies and incorporate them into NDCs and stimulus packages and to design paradigm shifting projects contributing to both recovery and climate ambitions. Countries may access resources through the three options below, provided they submit their expression of interest to the Secretariat by 28 February 2021. Countries may choose one option or a combination of options to achieve the three expected outputs proposed in the following table. The budget allocation to the option(s) chosen by countries will be counted under the annual readiness cap ($1 million per country per year) for 2020 or 2021 depending on the date that the request is approved by the GCF.  

Four sessions of the webinar for the National Designated Authorities and Delivery Partners will be conducted in three languages (English, French and Spanish). Participation in the webinar is by invitation.
