GCF emphasises role of women in addressing climate change at UN Women event

At a high-level ministerial event hosted by UN Women, GCF Deputy Executive Director Javier Manzanares underscored the important role that women play in addressing climate change. GCF worked with UN Women in producing the "Mainstreaming Gender in Green Climate Fund Projects" manual to help project designers and implementors in integrating gender equality in climate projects and interventions.
