GCF-UNDP agreements lay ground for start of 3 projects
GCF has signed agreements with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), a GCF Accredited Entity, to prepare three approved projects worth USD 84 million in GCF financing, to begin implementation by the end of November. The three Funded Activity Agreements (FAAs) – all signed on Tuesday – will develop climate early warning systems in Georgia; Enhance the climate resilience of people living in coastal Bangladesh; and improve the ability of Zambian farmers to deal with climate change.
