This readiness project will increase adaptive capacity at the national and departmental levels and build climate resiliency in Guatemala’s most vulnerable regions through enhanced access to localized climate information and improved adaptation response plans, constructed collaboratively with subnational actors, including vulnerable communities themselves. The project is designed in response to the barriers listed above and builds on previous climate-related initiatives in several of which RA, along with key stakeholders in Guatemala, have engaged.
