GCF Secretariat consults Accredited Entities on the drafting of the evaluation operational procedures and guidelines
The GCF Secretariat, through the Division of Portfolio Management, met in person with Accredited Entities in Songdo, Republic of Korea on 19th October 2022 to discuss the Evaluation Operational Procedures and Guidelines (‘guidelines’). The guidelines are the second of the two associated documents to the GCF Evaluation Policy and are developed in collaboration with the IEU of the GCF.
This consultation served as a useful venue to ensure that the content of the guidelines responds to the needs of its users, the Accredited Entities. It was part of the Secretariat’s series of consultations and built up the previous consultations between June - July 2022, where the Secretariat interviewed internal and external stakeholders and deployed a survey to Accredited Entities to inform the shaping of the guidelines. During this drafting stage and leading to the release of the first draft, the Secretariat will hold several roundtable discussions with Accredited Entities. Finally, the first draft will be subject to a three-week consultation period to allow Accredited Entities to submit written comments between November 2022 and December 2022.
