GCF Regional Dialogue with Africa

The GCF Regional Dialogue with Africa is scheduled to be held from 6 to 10 November 2023 in Windhoek, Republic of Namibia.
The event will provide a platform for engagement with National Designated Authorities (NDAs), Direct and International Accredited Entities (AEs) and other relevant GCF partners to increase understanding of GCF priorities, policies, tools and guidance, and to hear from valued stakeholders in relation to their priorities, challenges and ideas related to their engagement with the GCF. The event will also focus on supporting the development of innovative paradigm-shifting investments and impactful Readiness support at the national and regional levels. Bilateral meetings between National Designated Authorities, Accredited Entities and the GCF Secretariat staff will be built in the programme of the event.Â
The Regional Dialogue will include a series of technical discussions and workshops targeting specific topics designed to support programming for both private and public sectors. It will also provide matchmaking opportunities for NDAs and Accredited Entities, with an aim to strengthening partnerships around project pipelines. The Dialogue is also expected to provide a platform for NDAs, AEs and relevant stakeholders to share their experiences and promote knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning.
