Notice to the public

Beware of scam emails or messages purporting to be from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) or any of its representatives that come with grant, funds, compensation, or partnership offers. These fraudulent offers and emails are not in any way associated with GCF, nor with any of its personnel. These messages are scams and phishing emails.

How to know if it’s a scam

The emails may feature a GCF logo or may be sent by individuals purporting to represent GCF or an entity that includes GCF in its name. While they may look official, look out for solicitation of payment or personal information and incorrect grammar and spelling mistakes.

GCF will never ask for your personal banking information or other private information.

GCF will also never ask for personal payment of fees.

Official communication from GCF will come from emails ending in @gcfund.org, not gmail.com or hotmail.com.

If you receive a suspicious-looking email, please exercise extreme caution. Do not respond to emails or click on links from unknown sources claiming to be GCF. Please report the email to [email protected] and block the sender.
