Complementing decisions by the Board at its previous meetings, this document presents the elements required for the Board to approve the proposed initial RMF for the Fund. The proposed approach builds on the experiences and lessons learned from the Climate Investment Funds (CIF), Global Environment Facility (GEF), Adaptation Fund, UNFCCC programmes, and other relevant bilateral donors working on climate change issues.
