This document outlines the overall structure of the Fund and the Secretariat based on the provisions of the Governing Instrument for the Fund1, prior Board decisions and decisions of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This includes a description of the different types of bodies within the overall structure of the Fund and the Secretariat, and their role and functions.
