By its decision B.07/09, the Board decided to commence the process to mobilize resources and requested the Secretariat to make arrangements with all interested contributors, facilitating a collective engagement in the initial resource mobilization process. In order to enable interested contributors to provide resources to the Green Climate Fund during the IRM process, the Board also decided in the same decision that it will consider the policies for contributions based on recommendations from the first meeting of interested contributors.

Interested contributors considered proposed financial terms and policies for contributions at the first IRM meeting in June 2014 and the second technical IRM meeting in September 2014. Upon completion of the second technical IRM meeting, interested contributors concluded the document GCF/IRM.02/02/Rev.04 Proposal for the Policies for Contributions to the Green Climate Fund and have recommended it to the Board for its consideration. This document is included in Annex II as agreed by the interested contributors and without any changes or editing.
