This document sets out the guidelines for the operationalization of the fit‐for‐purpose accreditation approach. In developing this document, the Secretariat consulted with a wide range of experts and conducted a thorough review of the experiences and lessons from existing funds and institutions that have an accreditation or comparable process for assessing the conformity of an entity with a set of standards.
