Uganda places a high priority on accessing climate finance to assist in addressing its adaptation and mitigation funding needs. Three national entities pursue accreditation with the GCF – KCCA, National Environment Management Authority of Uganda (NEMA) and Uganda Development Bank (UDB). All three entities will be included in the accreditation support activities of this project. This Readiness proposal builds on Uganda’s earlier efforts to strengthen its engagement with the GCF under the GCF Readiness Support Programme.
