AEDD has nominated the Mali-Folkecenter Nyetaa to become accredited by the GCF as a direct access entity. Following a GAP analysis undertaken by Climate Mundial, MFC identified a number of areas in which it needs to refine its policies and procedures – and build its overall capacity – in order to meet the GCF criteria for the nature of accreditation it shall eventually seek. The visibility of the work proposed under this Readiness project shall come in three main areas as follows: (a) Expansion of MFC’s current operating manual and organisational procedures, (b) Increased capacity of its staff and (c) Enhancement of the public presentation of material related to the climate activities of the organisation via its website.
