The initial phase of the Readiness and Preparatory Support Program will focus on strengthening the NDA (activity 1) and developing a strategic framework for an effective engagement with the Fund, including the preparation of a country program (activity 2).

As a result of the readiness program activities, it is expected that the capacities of the NDA will be fostered to effectively fulfil its roles and responsibilities regarding the Fund. In addition, national knowledge on mitigation and adaptation strategies, measures and technique will be strengthened.
