Ban Ki-moon, GGGI President & Chair, on GCF-GGGI collaboration to support developing countries’ NDC priorities, climate action and green recovery efforts

The Global Green Growth Institute and the Green Climate Fund collaborate closely, creating synergies to help developing countries tackle climate change and achieve sustainable development through access to finance, technical support and capacity strengthening as part of GCF’s Readiness Programme. Through Readiness support, GCF and its partners can respond rapidly to the needs of developing countries. This may include help to craft and finance stimulus measures and to integrate NDC priorities into green recovery packages to maintain climate action in the context of COVID-19.
