Information Sessions on Revised Readiness Results Management Framework (“Revised RRMF”) of the Readiness and Preparatory Support Programme (RPSP)
Virtual
12 December 2024
The Revised RRMF is a key instrument for the GCF and its RPSP in supporting the developing countries to strengthen their capacities and planning and programming frameworks towards a transformational long-term climate action agenda. This includes the development of low-emission and climate-resilient strategies, multi-stakeholder engagement and coordination for climate planning and programming, and knowledge-sharing and learning, to eventually contributes to the achievement of commitments made by developing countries provided in their respective Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), National Adaptation Plan (NAPs) and other Long-Term Strategies (LTSs).
The RRMF has been revised to align with the Readiness Strategy 2024–2027 and its three streamlined objectives and eight outcomes, Updated Strategic Plan (USP-2) for GCF 2024–2027, and Operational Modalities for the Readiness Strategy 2024–2027 (attached). The Revised RRMF follows the intentions of the USP-2 to enhance the efficiency, speed, and ease of access of Readiness resources, while enabling the GCF to improve measurement and tracking of attributable impact achieved through the RPSP. The Revised RRMF is a simplified, yet comprehensive tool designed to guide results-based interventions under the RPSP, allowing countries to access the Readiness support that meet their Readiness needs, while enabling the GCF to effectively monitor, track and measure impactful results delivered by the RPSP to realize countries’ climate ambitions.
